The term of Employee engagment was first coined by Boston University's Willam Kahn in his 1990 paper Psychological conditions of personal engagement and disengagement at work .
Employee engagement refers to the designing the work place to improve Employee's emotional attachment to the corporation.
It involves the Employees are fully committed towards their organization goals and motivated to add to the organization's performance.
Definition:
"An emergent and working condition as a positive cognitive , emotional and behavioral state directed towards organizational outcomes. "
Employee engagement refers to bring to being psychological involved in connected to and committed to getting one's jobs done .
Employee engagement also involves employee retention.
Employee engagement initially begins with minimizing labour's turnover and retaining competent employees .
